Pronouns – they/them

I began my Shibari journey as a rope bunny and submissive at the hands of my lover and rigger Kopitan/Kinbakuboy in 2019. Since then I’ve explored deep connection and intimate moments with Ropeyjen & Handemonium, and performed on stage at many bdsm parties/music festivals/kink events around Australia with my partner and with Ropeyjen.

Rope Haus to me, is an opportunity for our friendship circle to create a safe space for people to explore Shibari in an LGBTQIA+ inclusive, accessible and disability friendly environment.

Something I personally wish to focus on is to find ways to cater to neurodivergent people with sensory issues and social difficulties. Being someone of these neurotypes has made entering similar spaces a very difficult and often overwhelming ordeal at times.

As an autistic individual, I can’t often regulate in spaces with very loud noises and always try to find ways for me to have my own safe space, which is sometimes a quiet corner, recommending and using LOOP earplugs, even wearing a tshirt that says “don’t touch me” so people can see that I’m not comfortable with unfamiliar energies.

I believe that everyone has different needs in not only their way of learning, but in social settings also. I want everyone to have access to Rope Haus. Accessibility for people who aren’t neurotypical is something that means a lot to me and I hope we can create something special that we know people will love 💕
