Pronouns (he/him)

I came into the rope world when my now-wife, Jen started learning to self-suspend in 2018. At the time I learnt skills in spotting and supporting self-suspension as Jen found her way in the air. When she started learning to tie others, I was her only class bunny for almost 2 years and gained a lot of skills in body awareness, communication and safety.
Whilst I don’t classify myself as a ‘bottom’ or ‘submissive’, I see being tied as a practise of letting go in the hands of someone I trust and stepping into a role that many dominant men don’t allow themselves to.

Behind the scenes of Rope Haus I take care of much of the IT, graphic design and branding. I love being around our ropey friends and watching them do their thing. I’m excited to see their love of rope, support the rope journeys of others. I hope to share my learnings about being a masculine body in rope and how ties can be adjusted to support solid-bodied people.
